Find the number of boys and girls in each classroom.
a) In classroom A, there are 25 children: 60% are girls
b) In classroom B, there are 28 children. The ratio of boys to girls is 3:4
c) In classroom C, there are 30 children. The ratio of boys to girls is 1:2

A) I worked out 60% of 25 (by doing 6/10 of 25) and I got 15. This means there are 15 girls.
So 25-15 = 10 boys

B) 3+4=7
28/7 = 4
4*3 = 12
4*4 = 16
So there's 12 boys and 16 girls

C) 1+2=3
30/3=10
10*1=10
10*2=20
So there's 10 boys and 20 girls
In class A:- 25/? X 100 = 60%
60 divided by 100 multiply by 25 = 15
25-15= 10
15:-Girls
10:-Boys

Class B:- 3+4=7
28 divided by 7 = 4
3 X 4= 12
4 X 4 =16
Boys:-12
Girls:-16

Class C:- 1+2 = 3
30 divided by 3 = 10
10 X 1= 10
10 X 2= 20

Boys :- 10
Girls :- 20
