A runner moving at a constant speed of 10.0m/s rounds a curve of radius 5.00m. Compute the acceleration of the runner. Are these numbers realistic? Help and please show me the steps

Respuesta :

The acceleration is given by:
a = v²/r
a = 10²/5
a = 20 m/s²

This is not a realistic value for a runner because it is very large.
