Answer: False

Transuranic waste  refers to the radioactive waste. It includes all elements that have atomic number higher than that of uranium in the periodic table. These elements includes neptunium, plutonium and others. Transuranic waste is generated during the use of nuclear fuel, nuclear weapon production, and reprocessing of the already used nuclear fuel. It also, consists of equipment, protective clothing and tools used in the processing of radioactive material.

Therefore, on the basis of above information, the statement transuranic waste comes mostly from used clothing and medical wastes is false.
