You have a band concert coming up. You need to make sure that everyone in the audience has a seat. 70 people bought tickets. You set 6 rows of 11 chairs. Is that enough chairs? Why or why not? Show Work!

no this is not enough chairs!

if you have 6 rows of 11 chairs it would look like this

xxxxxx

xxxxxx

(each x is a chair)

this would mean to figure out the amount of chairs you set down you would do 6 x 11 which is 66. so you would need 4 more chairs to fit all 70 people.
