Please help me solve for x (show work)
-4/7x = -1

[tex] \frac{ - 4}{ \: \: 7} x = - 1[/tex]
Now firstly we have to take 7 to right hand side and multiply -1 by 7
[tex] - 4x = - 1 \times 7[/tex]
[tex] - 4x = - 7[/tex]
Now we have to take -4 to the right hand side and divide -7 by -4
[tex]x = \frac{ - 7}{ - 4} [/tex]
As we know that in case of division - and - are cancelled so ,
[tex]x = \frac{7}{4} [/tex]
Hope it helps u mate
