The meeting took place in the year 1974,to treat with the Iroquois, mainly because of the war with France was impeded, the meeting agreed to make some land purchases in N.Y which the Natives disagreed with.Colonial governments, feeling that it would check their own authority and territorial rights, rejected it or chose not to act on it at all.
