If you make a mistake and change the diagnosis the physician could be accused of causing fraud,end up getting sued, or fired. If you make an honest mistake then you should go directly to the doctor and explain what happend. If you are upfront about the mistake it will make the situation easier.
If you work for a physician and make a mistake and change the diagnosis then, the license can get terminated, the physician can end up getting sued or fired under such medical negligence.
