Al Khwarizmi was a persian scholar who developed the concept of algorithm in mathematics which he is most regonized for. His algebra to many is considered the cornerstone of the sciences. He also made several important improvements to the sundials. al-Khwarizmi also made great contributions to the medieval geography. He corrected Ptolemy’s research in geography, using his own findings.
